Mahatma Gandhi: Resolution
Mahtma G

Let the first act of every morning be to make the following resolve for the day:

I shall not fear anyone on earth.
I shall fear only God.
I shall not bear ill toward anyone.
I shall not submit to injustice from anyone.
I shall conquer untruth by truth.
And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering.
Thomas Jefferson: Decalogue

Thomas J

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
Never trouble another for what you can do yourself.
Never spend your money before you have it.
Never buy what you do not want, because it is cheap; it will be dear to you.
Pride costs us more than hunger, thirst, and cold.
We have never repented of having eaten too little.
Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Be too large for worry, too noble for anger too strong for fear, and too happy to permit troubles.

Ten Native American Commandments
Remain close to the Great Spirit.
Show great respect for your fellow beings.
Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.
Be truthful and honest at all times.
Do what you know to be right.
Look after the wellbeing of mind and body.
Treat the earth and all that dwell thereon with respect.
Take full responsibility for your actions.
Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
Work together to the benefit of all mankind.
Simple, easygoing
I am what I consider to be a simple, easygoing man. Being an extravert I thrive on my own energy as well as the energy of others.

My attitude is simple, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”, because when you are happy, others around you are happy and that makes for a good working environment.

I like to instil values such as trust, caring, friends, and dedication. Having values such as these are what makes me function.

I see myself also as the helper, giving people the knowledge to do his or her tasks. When I have helped someone with his or her work or just being trusted by someone to talk to makes me feel a great sense of accomplishment.

Knowing more about the people I work and interact with will enable me to deal better with them.

I see myself as a friend to the team. Giving them enough support, and appreciation to perform as well as they can be.

By remembering what was instilled in me and putting this to practice I am able to help those in need.
Keep smiling, it could be worse!
I am honest with myself and to those around me.

I am supportive to my team and my superiors.

I am reliable, trustworthy and care about my team and treat them with the respect that I would wish for.

I take time to hear those around me, who’s ideas and opinions I do not readily agree with.

I listen to my team and give them the freedom and independence to work and take decisions, but I will always be there for support when needed.

I ensure that the work place for me as well as those working around me is a fun place, but at the same time a productive one.

Keep smiling!
Be on the go
I am glad that I was never shy
Or that I hardly ever cry
My energy level will never be slow
As I will always continue to be on the go

I will never be able not to talk
But if you want me to listen I will come with you for a walk
I only move in a forward direction
Due that I never look back on the past or pervious rejections

I will always have warmth and understanding for others.
Especially for those if my life, like my husband, daughters, brother and of course that wonderful women whom I call my “mother”.

I have never held a grudge toward anyone
But sometimes I can act so silly and dumb.

In this world I would like to plant a certain type of seed
That would help all the children and animals that are in my need
This seed I hope would always continue to grow
Just because I would want my children to also know

Sometimes my visions for my future is occasional unrealistic
But even this will never cause me to go ballistic

I love the world that I live in, today
Especially all the people that are here and are willing to stay

I often dream of what I could possible leave behind someday
Then I realize that is the simple, the compassion and love that I gave away
My daughters will hold on to this, and have it deep within
So the light in this wonderful world for them, will never become dim
Do What It Takes
I treasure integrity for what values it gives me. Respect and honesty hold me together. I apply them to all aspects of life, to do what it takes to get it done.

I am fair and open minded with you in mind. I coordinate your day-I save you time. Simplify the process-it’s only black and white. I enjoy the day and so shall you. Do what it takes to get it done.

You are my concern, present and beyond. The foundation we build today is lasting. Together we promote direction with guidance, for our mission is to do what it takes to get it done.

I am positive, and so are you. Teamwork and success is our attitude. I challenge with efficiency as your goal. We do what it takes to get it done.

My purpose has meaning and guides my life. Strength, personal commitment, and love steer me. Harmony is happiness-this I spread. I enjoy my day and what it takes to get it done.

I am remembered for setting the bar. I listen to you and most important, hear you. Do you see me? I am here. I do what it takes to get it done.

I bring experience into your day. I expand your knowledge. You are trusted with the ability to grow in your career. I correct and redirect so your path does not veer out of limits.

Now is your time, to do what it takes!
Together Everyone Achieves More
I will offer sincerity in approaching my position and the team in an open, honest and positive manner.

I will be consistent and fair in all that I do. Opportunities for development will be explored for everyone.

A communicative and informative environment will be established providing regular feedback, performance reviews, briefing sessions and focus groups to keep our joint objectives on course.

My door is always open so they have someone to come to.

I will embrace change positively.

I will focus on balancing my work and social life and work on my physical well being.

I will recognize the individual within the team and respect their values.

By doing all of this the team and as individuals will reap the success and reward. By surpassing our own and others expectations is truly a success in its own right.
Help me God
I am here to discover my mission, love it, enjoy it and fulfil it.

I see myself first as a Husband and a father, I see me kissing my wife and son every morning wishing them the greatest day ever, kissing them at night wishing them sweat dreams, giving them support as much as I need it, love as much as I feel it.

Be the father, the brother and the friend to my son, passing my experience to him, giving him the guide that he needs, making sure that he will build his own personality in the future.

I see myself as a son, giving back to my parents the love and care they gave me during my childhood, calling them daily to check how things are going.

I see myself as a brother and a friend to my sister, listen when she needs to talk, give support when needed.

I see myself as the elder Scout leader in our Boy Scouts group. Delivering the message to generations and generations of new leaders, how to give from their time and effort for the welfare of every boy and a girl in our group, to be a better person in a better world.

I see myself at work the source of new ideas, giving the support and help to my boss, making him feel secured with my support. I see myself as a friend to my team more than a leader, a leader more than a boss, giving them enough support, appreciation, motivation and good work conditions to perform as good as I expect from them.

I see myself as a trainer, doing the best I can to deliver the required information to my participants, fully, honestly without any differentiation between one and another, and staying as the source of information for them whenever they need support and back up.

And in order to do all what I aim for, I am taking good care of my health, jogging and exercising 3 times a week, alone and with friends. Learning everyday at least one new thing, cause when the day comes when I stop learning, that is the day when I will stop living.

Knowing more about people to be able to deal with them, more understanding to the events around me, to be able to coupe with.

Listening to the sound of God inside me, in others and in my surrounding nature, following his words to be able to serve those in need, to be able to forgive.

SO HELP ME GOD TO BE WHO I AM

Looking Forward
will learn a new thing every day.

I will work out balance between work and social life.
I will go every day with a positive attitude.
Practice transparent objectives using the so-called “Glass wall management” for common understanding and harmonious environment.
Always procure and find the-motivation factors on people to achieve the best all-round solution.

Recognize and embrace emotions as a natural part of life rather than seeing it as something that must be controlled and managed.
Be present and committed to the team in the road to success.

I will be there before I’m asked.
I will be someone who they can come to.
I will respect to be respected.
By doing what I think and feel is right I want this day to be better than yesterday.

Moments

(
Translated from Spanish)

If I could live my life again.
Next time, I would try to make more mistakes.
I would not try to be so perfect, I would relax more.
I would be sillier than I have been.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would be less fastidious.
Accept more risks, I would take more trips,
Contemplate more evenings,
Climb more mountains, and swim more rivers...
I would go to more places where I have not been,
Eat more ice cream and fewer beans.
I would have more real problems and less imaginary ones.
I was one of those people who lived
sensibly and meticulously every minute of their life.
Of course I have had moments of happiness.
But if I could go back in time, I would try to have good moments only, and not waste precious time. I was someone never went anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bag, an umbrella and a parachute. If I could live again, I would travel more frivolously.
If I could live again, I would begin to walk barefoot at the beginning of the spring
and I would continue to do so until the end of autumn. I would ride more merry-go-rounds,
I would contemplate more evenings and I would play with more children.
If I could have another life ahead.
But I am 85 years old you see, and I know that I am dying.

This poem is thought to have been written by Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), an Argentine poet, essayist, and short-story writer. The actual author is apparently the North American poet, Nadine Stair.

Time is Fleeting

Time is fleeting and there is no reset button as on a video game to start again.

I am a man of few words and show who I am with my actions.

I am loyal and dedicated to my work.

I am reliable and fair towards my co-workers, and I have earned their respect.

I do the best that I can with what I have and am gaining more with each day.

I do this to improve myself and to improve those that work with me.

Because of this I am a better leader and they are better leaders of the future.

There are many parts of me: each is different and each is related.

I am a boss, a co-worker, and a staff member.

I am a husband, a father, and a friend.

I accumulate experiences and add to each role as an addition to one part adds to all.

For me to hold those roles, I maintain the well-being of my physical, mental, and spiritual self.

I am eating healthy foods and exercising daily for my physical needs.

I am reading and conversing to stimulate my mental and social skills.

I do this not only for myself; I do it also so that others may benefit from knowing me.
Looking Ahead

I am always committed to my role in Lufthansa Cargo;

I will always give respect, no matter whom I am addressing;

I always listen and act on my team’s opinions and thoughts;

I encourage openness and suggestions for improvement within my team;

I always approach each day with positiviety and purpose;

I never fear a challenge undertaken, no matter how complex;

I take time each day to ask my team how they are and ask if they have any concerns;

I will ALWAYS enjoy what I do.
